Politics!

I despise politics.

I hate politics.

I hate that the politicians will allegedly lie, cheat, and steal . . . in order to get elected.

I hate that they are so willing to toss - allegedly - their morals/ethics aside just to get a vote!

Seriously, they say what they need to say to the people they want to vote for them, and, for the most part, never meaning a word of it.

Newt promises a colony on the moon . . . when speaking to people who worked for NASA, and hope to again. Yeah, lets funnel billions of dollars into the space program . . . when the deficit is already out of control. Makes sense . . . if you're trying to get elected President!

Mitt Romney flips-flops more than a fish out of water. Seriously.

And, these allegedly intelligent individuals don't see a problem in denying equal rights. Well, then again, neither did Hitler . . . and we all know how that one turned out.

So my wish is that . . . all politicians lose their voices! That silence reigns supreme and that the truth of the lies and hypocrisy of every single politician, every single person who ever decides to run for office, no matter the political affiliation, is evident to every single person on the face of the earth!

Yeah, a bit extreme, but . . .

. . . I'm tried of the BS they all spout, the negativity, and everything else associated with politics.

Our elected officials fail, on a daily basis, to do the job they were elected to do: serve the best interest of "WE" the people!!! Instead, they serve the best interests of the people lining - allegedly - their pockets with campaign contributions, i.e., blood money. The politicians we have elected aren't doing their job. The politicians we elected are getting rich by insider trading. Oh, it's currently legal, and should have been made illegal decades ago, but . . .

. . . why would said politicians make something illegal that is making them all wealthy?

They wouldn't.

Just as they will never do the job they were truly elected to do!

It's time our Senate/Congress stopped acting like a bunch of toddlers, and began acting like adults. Just sayin' . . .
