Day of Bigotry

So the defenders of Daddy Duck, aka Phil Robertson, are planning a Day of Bigotry at Chik-Fil-A in January 2014!

I mean, what better place to host a Day of Bigotry, then at a place that donates hundreds of thousands of dollars towards groups that seek to promote bigotry? It's a win-win situation for bigots: they get to tout their bigoted beliefs and eat chicken with a portion of the money they pay for said chicken going to groups that promote bigotry!

So, when you drive by Chik-Fil-A on a certain day in January, take a good look and see how many of your friends and neighbors you see supporting an alleged bigot and know . . . they're just as much a bigot as he is through their support.

Oh, of course, your friends and neighbors will say "Oh, we're not bigots, we're just supporting his first amendment rights and Christianity!" Yes, I know, your friends and neighbors are as deluded as Sarah Palin. That's right, this issue isn't about his first amendment rights being trampled (they weren't, btw) nor is it about him, as an alleged Christian wielding the Bible as a weapon. It is about his hate filled and racist (i.e., bigoted) comments. That, dear readers, is what people are defending and . . .

. . . probably 80% of them haven't even read his comments (uh, Sarah Palin, please step to the front of the class).

And yet, a Day of Bigotry is being planned at Chik-Fil-A. Oh, the defenders are calling it something different, because why would they want to admit they're defending an alleged (sorry, have to use that word for legal protection) bigot?

Now, back to your regular programming . . .

Oh, wait, since I've finally weighed in the issue, keep reading for just a bit.

Daddy Duck has every right to spout his beliefs - bigoted/racist/hateful/etc. His defenders, even in full on ignorance, have every right to defend him and make up lies that his first amendment rights were being trampled and his Christianity was being attacked (none of which happened). This is America - the land of the free, the brave, the stupid who have no idea why they're defending a bigot, and all that jazz! You're allowed to say whatever you want and then bitch/moan/whine/whatnot when people call you out on your bigotry. And, in this day in age, you can start a Facebook page in support of alleged bigot that has over one million bigoted followers that think they're not bigots when really they are bigots!

Amen, Sistah!
